Mr. N. S. Wong established Nanshing Color & Chemicals Co. Ltd. in December, 1950 in Hong Kong. It became a successor distribution company of Allied Chemical Corp. (now Honeywell), with which Mr. N. S. Wong had had a relationship since 1918. The Company’s sole and exclusive business then was the distribution of dyestuffs from Allied Chemical.
Mr. James W. H. Wong, son of Mr. N. S. Wong, joined the Company in May 1963 and founded Nanco Electronics Supply Ltd. in 1973. Nanco Electronics pioneered Dynapert Component Insertion Equipment to the electronics assembly industry in Hong Kong, Taiwan and China and in 1978 became Motorola (now Freescale) Semiconductors' first Hong Kong and China distributor.
PRESENT
Today, Nanco Electronics aims to be the dominant Greater China engineered electronic solutions provider. We focus on bringing the best engineering and project management skills from our staff and offices throughout Greater China to all the markets we serve. We continue to partner with premier components suppliers to solution providers in Greater China and beyond.
Our focus is in the Home, Industrial, Network, and Media applications and we have software, hardware, power, RF engineering capabilities as well as dedicated project teams. Besides our own resources, we have a strong financial position and have a network of R&D, manufacturing, and distribution partners globally to enable us to tackle large and or complex projects. |
